White Amano Shrimp Snowball

Description

Another first in South Africa and at Aqua Empire, the White Amano Shrimp. They are exactly the same as the true Amano but have been bred for their white snowball colouration. The Amano Shrimp is all about cleaning algae in your aquarium. They will demolish all typres of algae but are best known for eating hair and black beard algae.

They are an exceptionally hardy shrimp and accept a wide variety of water parameters.

We recommend around 6 to 10 Amano Shrimp per 60L of planted aquarium.

Amano shrimp form part of your clean up crew.

They are named after Takashi Amano from ADA as he studied them and found that they eat the most amount of algae of any shrimp.

Please acclimate all livestock correctly.

1. Float bag in tank.

2. Open bag and roll bag back on itself so it remains floating.

3. Add half a cup of aquarium water to the bag every 5 mintues.

4. Repeat step 4 times before relasing the livestock.
